How to Open an Existing Session File

_13expertlingocreativitysuite_1In the previous posts, we've covered the basics of the eXpertSystems startup screen so that you know how to access both Author and Viewer Modes, and we've guided you through the process of creating a New Session.  Now we will cover the details on how to open an existing Session file so that you can read, edit, or share your work with others.

FIND AND OPEN YOUR SESSION FILE
___________________________________________________________________________

1)  From the startup screen, which appears whenever you launch eXpertSystem, select the first button called Open Session.  This will open a new window as shown in the image above that will allow you to search your hard drive for Session files that have been saved.  All Session files end in the extension .exs so the hard part is remembering exactly where you saved the Session in the first place.

2)  Once you've found the Session file that you want, click Open and your Session will then be loaded into the Viewer windows.

The eXpertLingo application is launched simultaneously and appears as a smaller window on top of the Viewer screen for quick access to the web, images, and other features that will be handy when editing your Sessions.  For more information on the features and use of eXpertLingo, please refer to the post on How to Use eXpertLingo.
